The TradingPartners eAuction site offers a truly seamless solution for procurement. While many other offerings on the market use many different pieces of software to patchwork a process, the TradingPartners eAuction site allows a project to flow from start to finish with built-in tools such as:

• instant messaging for clear communication
• a document library to make sure all suppliers are working off of the same information
• discussion boards that let buyers post questions to share with other team members
• notes and tasks recording to improve workflow and keep the project organized

The interface is designed with the buyer in mind. The Lot Optimization view (screenshot above) enables the buyer to mix and match single source and multi-source scenarios to show which will yield the best results.

Data Analysis and Reports

It's true that a picture is worth a thousand words (or in our case, dollars, or yen, or, pounds!). Our clients benefit from the data visualization tools built into our eAuction platform. Graphs and charts are displayed on the site in real time as the eAuction progresses so clients can track results.

Savings Pie Chart Shows where the largest interest is in the contract and how the lotting strategy is working.

Incumbent  Vs. New Suppliers Bid Comparison Shows exactly how much savings the incumbent has offered and takes switching costs into account.

Instant Messaging

Our eAuction platform includes an Instant Messaging (IM) functionality that enables our professionals to communicate in real time with suppliers during the eAuction. Going back and forth via IM has many benefits that improve the process and results of the eAuction overall. For one, suppliers have a constant connection to TradingPartners, so that they don't feel alienated from the live event. Our TradingPartners professionals use IM to help suppliers along the way - encouraging them to bid and answering questions as the actual event unfolds. Chatting online throughout the event engages suppliers, ensuring everyone stays in the loop and on task, which leads to a smooth auction and the best results for our clients.
